Prior to 14 days of a camp/retreat start date

Cancellations
With a written/email request, a person may cancel a registration and receive a refund minus a $25 processing fee

Transfers
With a written/email request, a person may transfer registration funds to another Joy El camp/retreat

  • The new camp/retreat must be within the same calendar year
  • Fees are transferable to other family members
  • A $10 transfer fee will be applied

 

Within 14 days of a camp or retreat

Cancellations
All registration fees are nonrefundable within 14 days of any camp week, with the exception of extreme illness or injury with supporting documentation from a doctor.

Transfers
If a cancellation is necessary within 14 days of your camp/retreat, a written/email request to transfer fees to another camp/retreat, must be submitted 24 hours before the camp/retreat start date.

  • The new camp/retreat must be within the same calendar year
  • Fees are transferable to other family members
  • A $25.00 transfer fee will be charged.

During Camp/Retreats Refunds and Credits

  • If a camper leaves camp for any reason prior to the halfway point of their camp/retreat, a credit equal to one-half of the cost will be applied to their account
  • Credits must be used during the same calendar year
  • Credits are transferable to other family members
  • If a camper remains at camp for more than the half-way point of their camp or retreat, no refund or credit will be issued.

 

Cancellations due to “Act of God”

  • If prior to the start of any camp/retreat, Joy El must choose to cancel the camp/retreat, an opportunity to transfer fees paid to a new event or a refund will be available.
  • If a camp/retreat must be cancelled past the half-way point of the camp/retreat, no credit or refund will be made available.
