Welcome!

The 4.12 Leadership Training Program (LTP) is a discipleship training program for students in grades 8-12 who want to make a radical difference in the world. If you love Jesus, are ready to be serious about following Him, and would like to have some fun in the process, we encourage you to learn more.

Why Leadership Training?

In the program, we will provide you with leadership training, opportunities to deepen your faith, chances to serve, a place to find friendships with others on the same journey, and lots of good memories.

This program specifically addresses the following issues in a young person’s life:

  • Biblical worldview—Processing and assessing current cultural life from a biblical perspective- an absolute “must” for the serious trainee of Christ.
  • Spiritual disciplines—Learning to nurture and guard his/her own spiritual life through biblical disciplines of Bible reading, Bible memorization, prayer, evangelism, etc. for life-long spiritual health and growth.
  • Personal accountability—Choosing to be honest, transparent, and confessional with God and another person as the mark of a sincere and committed disciple and worthy leader.
  • Leadership development—Learning what leadership is and isn’t, and developing the servant-leader mentality through a close look at Christ and other biblical models.
  • Leadership practicum—Seeking and accepting servant roles in a variety of practical situations, inside and outside the program, as valuable preparation for life-long leadership.

4.12 LTP Benefits

We don’t think you’d be reading this if you were totally focused on yourself. This is for young people who are serious about loving Jesus and other people. But first you have to sign up.

Here’s what’s in store for you:

  • Get to know Jesus better by developing good habits of Bible study, prayer, and scripture memorization.
  • Learn how to witness and gain the benefits of solid Christian fellowship.
  • Discuss topics related to your faith with fellow 4.12 students, program leaders and adult mentors.
  • Learn to influence others rather than following the crowd.
  • Earn a good reputation through speech, life, love, faith and purity.
  • Prepare for life in the future.
  • Have fun with friends who encourage your faith.

Of course, all of this depends upon you doing your best in the 4.12 LTP!

The early application deadline for returning students is by July 30, 2026

All applications (Returners and New Applicants) are due in hand by August 10, 2026

How do returning students reapply?

Returning students must reapply each year for the 4.12 program. The early application deadline is July 30th (applications open to potential students starting July 31st). This is to give returning students a head start on the application deadline since there are limited spots each year for the program.

Returning students may still apply after July 30th but their applications will be in the pool with all potential applications submitted. Because acceptance is based on “first-come, first-qualified” a returner’s application may not be accepted if the limited number of spots has already been filled by other qualified students.

All applications must be received by August 10 or you will not be re-enrolled in the program.
